Why Do Celebrities Buy Property Abroad?

October 26th, 2009 by admin

So many celebrities are choosing to buy property in the sunshine rich countries now.Is all of this just a cry for a bit more media attention or do these people actually need to get away from things in the same way normal people do?

Well to start with, taxing isn’t the word I would use to describe celebrities as a lot of them are able to escape a lot of the taxes out there, on top of this although a lot of them do work hard, people like Paris Hilton just make their money from doing nothing so the fame really isn’t deserved. I have the highest amount of respect for the people that work their way up from the bottom, why shouldn’t they get what they have worked for?

Why do all of these people really buy these fancy places? So many stars lead a very hectic life and just need to get away from it like everybody else. The media are always in their faces and the schedules of people like Johnny Depp and Tom Hanks means that they only really get about two weeks off in the year. So it is certainly true to say that some of these starts get what they deserve.

Football players do not need the money they recieve and do certainly not deserve it all. Sure they can play the game but they get such a large amount of money for 90 minutes and a couple of training sessions a week.

I wonder how much some of their holiday homes insurance comes too.

For the normal person overseas home insurance comes at quite a reasonable price and it is even possible for you to get holiday cottage insurance.

If you are considering getting a holiday home yourself then do not take any notice of the ones the celebrities are getting, they are and can be very affordable especially when you combine it with renting it out as this can bring you in a lot of money.

El Cajon Homes

El Cajon Homes

In the past few years, El Cajon’s population has grown to 95,000, due to affordable El Cajon homes and the convenient location. Many that have moved here enjoy the warmer climate compared to the mildler climate of the beach cities.

You will find both older and new single family housing, condos, and townhouses, and apartments all at very affordable prices. A typical El Cajon neighborhood is nicely set with well established housing and streets that are well taken care of. Swimming pools are popular here because of the nice weather all year.

El Cajon has Sycuan Casino and Resort plus it is very close to all of the tourist attractions of the area. The climate makes it possible to enjoy out-door events all year such as Golf, hiking and house-back-riding.
All this is a far cry for the Original use of this part of San Diego which was cattle grazing and agricultural endeavors. The pioneers were correct, this was a great place for cattle ranches. After years of cattle ranching, lemon groves were planted in a new area called LA Mesa Springs, which later became La Mesa . Another town close is Lakeside which boasts The Barona Valley Ranch, which is another opportunity for adult fun and excitement. The Barona Valley Resort has all expected out of a high end destination-resort. The mountain community of Alpine is a few minutes down the road. Past Alpine is the cutoff for the Viejas Casino and the Viejas Outlet mall.

So whatever your individual interests are and whatever taste and style you and your loved ones have, you will be able to find just what you want in the real estate market here in the El Cajon area of East San Diego County.
